SPLASHING LABRADORS OF OXFORD is happy to welcome four wagging, healthy, happy, well-adjusted, loving Black Male Labrador Puppies. We are elated and feel privileged for this awesome gift from Splash, our fabulous Dam. Our Four Oxford Boys, are being cherished and loved, nurtured, guided, and played with inside our home. We aim in selectively breeding the finest of Labs, with sound health and genetic background, and well-adjusted and harmonious temperaments, athletic finesse, astute hunting propensities, a passionate love of water, and true to the Labrador Breed Standard.
While we lived in Germany, our selective search for a special Dam to breed resulted in finding BETTI vom KLOSTER HAIMBACH, also known as “SPLASH”. At seven weeks old, Splash, affectionate, full of vitality, and hooked on water from the get-go, captivated our hearts. Her ingenious, outsmarting, and quick-witted play, and her nimble and snappy retrieving of objects, decidedly set her apart from her other nine siblings. The moment she established an unwavering eye contact with us, we knew she was what we were looking for.
Splash was sired by the famous German Hunting Meister, THE EARL VOM SCHIESSBERG. In the Year 2004, the same year Earl vom Schiessberg fathered our dog Splash, The Labrador Club Deutschland e.V. named Earl, “The Highest Premiere Labrador of Hunting…never before had a Labrador won so many hunting championships.” Just we had hoped, Splash inherited her father’s extraordinary discerning nose and amazing tracking abilities. She quickly developed into an intelligent, fast learning athlete, a loyal companion and family member, and teacher. We have always been extremely active with our dog Splash, taking her everywhere with us, and exposing her to a variety of places and environments, both in the States and in Europe. This, combined with lots of dedicated positive training, gave Splash abundant challenging outlets for her demanding brand of Labrador energy. Now, we permanently reside in the country on five acres in Oxford, North Carolina, where our dogs have plenty of space to run, play, and retrieve, and most importantly, live a life befitting a Lab.
On December 13th, 2008, our once held vision and dream
to bring forth improved offspring to this marvelous Labrador Breed,
were finally realized. Sired by Dickendall Davaron Clark Gable, four
healthy, intelligent, exuberantly exploring, and loving BLACK LABRADOR
BOYS were entrusted to us by Dam Splash.
